Yes, we direct-bill most major benefit plans. How much you are covered for depends on your plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to inquire about your specific coverage. Our team can assist you with any necessary documentation to support your claim.

No. This may change in the future, but we currently only have contact lenses. An eyeglass prescription would need to be fulfilled elsewhere. We are happy to provide you with some recommendations.

For most healthy adults, we recommend an eye exam every two years. However, if you have specific vision issues, wear corrective lenses, or have a medical condition that affects your eyes, more frequent exams may be necessary.

Children need yearly eye exams to ensure proper development. As your eye care professionals, we’ll offer guidance for you and your family.

Vision Therapy is a comprehensive program supervised by an optometrist, designed to address specific visual deficiencies and improve overall visual function. Regular eye exercises, on the other hand, are typically simple activities that may not address the underlying issues or provide the same level of improvement.

A Functional Vision Exam is typically longer than a routine eye exam. Although ocular health and visual acuity are important parts of both exams, additional extensive testing into how the eyes work together and how the brain processes visual information are also conducted. For a more thorough description please see our Vision Therapy page.

A proactive approach is recommended for children to detect any potential vision problems that could impact learning and development. They should have their first comprehensive eye exam at six months of age. After that, exams should be at age three, before starting school (around age five), and then annually or as recommended by their eye care professional.

Yes, adults can benefit from Vision Therapy. While it is often associated with children, adults with visual problems related to work, sports, concussions or other post-traumatic problems can also see significant improvements through Vision Therapy. See our Vision Therapy page for details.

Absolutely! Although the initial evaluation, the progress checks and the follow-up appointments need to be done in-person, therapy sessions can be done remotely online. However, it is the initial evaluation that will help us determine if this is the right option for you or your child.

The cost of Vision Therapy varies based on the length and complexity of the program. During your initial consultation, we will provide a detailed breakdown of the expected costs. We also offer flexible payment plans to accommodate different financial situations.

We understand that sometimes things come up and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We ask that you provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee applied to your account.

No, prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses often differ. We’d be happy to provide a fitting for contact lenses that are comfortable and tailored to your specific needs, ensuring optimal vision without affecting your eyeglass prescription.
